- Click Tools.
- Click Accounts.
- Click the Mail tab.
- Highlight your Centric mail account.
- Select properties.
- Select the Servers tab.

page, place a
check next to "My server
requires
authentication."

Authentication," which
is located right above

MS Outlook & MS Outlook 2003
- Click Tools.
- Click Email Accounts.
- Select "View or change existing e-mail
accounts"
- Click Next.
- Highlight Centric your mail account.
- Click Change.

In the lower right of the
Internet E-mail Settings
page, click More
Settings.
- Select the Outgoing Server tab.
- Place a check next to "My outgoing server
(SMTP) requires Authentication.
- Click OK.
- Click Next.
- Click Finish.
IncrediMail
- Click Tools.
- Click Accounts.
- Highlight your mail account.
- Click Properties.
- Click the Servers tab.
- At the bottom of the page, place a check
next to "My server requires authentication."
- Click OK.
- Click Close.
Netscape 7.0
- On your mail screen, Click Edit.
- Click Mail & Newsgroup Account Settings.
- Confirm that the Account Name field has
your email address entered.
- Click OK.

- Click Personalities.
- Right-click on your Centric mail
Personality.
- Select Properties.

On the Generic Properties
screen confirm that
"Authentication allowed"
is checked.
Thunderbird
- Click Tools.
- Click Account Settings.
- Click Outgoing Server (in left pane).
- Highlight Outgoing Server.
- Click Edit.
- Place a check next to “Use name and
Password.”
- Enter your email account name.
- Click OK
- Click OK.
Mac Mail
- Click Tools
- Click Accounts
- Click Outgoing Server (in the left pane)
- Server name should mail.centric.net
- Place a check next to “Use name and
password”
